Brethren:

On behalf of Brothers Mike Madden, James McKenzie and myself, I would like to start by saying "Thank You" for the trust you have shown by electing us as your 2008 Officers. We are excited by some of the changes happening as well as the challenges that are before us. We have put the calendar back on our Trestle Board and Website in hopes of keeping the Brethren better informed. We have also instituted a policy for the year that no degree will be held unless it is first published on the Trestle Board and Website. The sign in front of the building will also be used to publicize important dates for the lodge.

We have set a fundraising goal of $25,000.00 to start refurbishing our building as well as embarking on a path of Masonic Awareness in the community. If any brother would like to attend a meeting but is uncomfortable or unable to drive at night, please contact a lodge officer and we will arrange transportation for you to and from our meetings.

We will also be holding a "Dusty Compass/Rusty Nail" degree in March for those brothers that have been away and would like to get active once again. Please come to our meetings and participate. You may not think so, but you are sorely missed.

Sincerely and Fraternally,

            Jim Apone, Worshipful Master
            Mike Madden, Senior Warden
            James McKenzie, Junior Warden

Thought for the Month: Today, Freemasonry stands on the human frontier. We continue to be the heralds of freedom and the exemplars of independence. At every point, we ask ourselves the essential qualities of life. What am I: Whence came I? And whither I go? Continually, we seek the Light--and then more Light. We are conscious of our imperfections, of our limited knowledge, and of our need for further understanding. This is our pledge as Freemasons: We shall continue in the Light!
